Tradition & Comfort

The Tynte Arms Inn

A traditional village pub on the edge of the Quantock Hills close to the town of Bridgwater in the village of Enmore.

The Tynte Arms Inn (known locally as just The Tynte), is a delightful traditional pub offering a wide selection of beers, ciders, real ales and wines which also offers bed and breakfast accommodation.

The inn itself dates back to 1848 and was originally 3 farmer's cottages.

The name ‘Tynte’ has been rooted in local history for many years.

Tynte Arms Bar

In the summer we have a pleasant courtyard garden for you to enjoy, and when the weather turns cooler you will welcome the warmth of our cosy bar with its original beams, leather sofas and a real fire.

The Tynte - Courtyard Garden and Cosy Real Fire

We have a comfortable dining area and an adjoining restaurant where you can sample our wide range of seriously good home cooked food served in generous portions, with plenty of space between the tables.

You'll find our menu written on a chalkboard.  This enables us to change it easily according to what is available at the time and to add specials.

Depending on the time of your visit we may have a great value set menu on offer,

At The Tynte we also offer comfortable ensuite accommodation.

All of our well appointed rooms are easily accessible on the ground floor with their own entrances.

Although we are in a quiet and picturesque spot, our location is very handy for visiting the many West Country attractions or businesses that are located nearby.  So whether you are in the area for a holiday, sport or for business and you wish their was an alternative to cheap chain hotels, look no further!
Why stay somewhere with no character or charm when instead you can stay at the Tynte?!
Our 4 rooms come at surprisingly low prices.
